Travis Picking 104 – Beat 2 Pinch

This guitar lesson on the beat 2 pinch, assumes that you’ve covered the material in Travis Picking 101 102, and 103

This is by far may favorite pattern.  It varies only slightly from the Beat 1 Pinch, in that it shifts the pinch on to the second beat.  It works really well for anything you want to play with country/blues feel a la Merle Travis. The picking pattern is p p/m  p i p m or you can also think of it as “Thumb-Pinch-Inside-Outside”
