This guitar lesson on the beat 2 pinch, assumes that you’ve covered the material in Travis Picking 101, 102, and 103
This is by far may favorite pattern. It varies only slightly from the Beat 1 Pinch, in that it shifts the pinch on to the second beat. It works really well for anything you want to play with country/blues feel a la Merle Travis. The picking pattern is p p/m p i p m or you can also think of it as “Thumb-Pinch-Inside-Outside”
