Guitar Repairs
Guitar repairs are handled offsite by my technician, Mark Atkinson. Mark is a seasoned full-time guitar tech with over 30 years of experience. He’s become the go-to tech for many local retailers, famous guitarists, and local professionals. Repairs and setups are done by appointment only — unscheduled drop-ins are not available.
To get your guitar repaired, drop it off with me at the studio. I bring guitars to Mark weekly, typically on Mondays. Get in touch to arrange a drop-off time.
Guitar repair prices are for labour only. Parts (including strings) are an additional charge. Please note that nut, saddle, and bridge repairs will most likely require a setup in addition to the initial repair. This list represents the most common repairs — call or email for anything not listed.
All prices subject to change. The shop does not offer painting or finish repairs.

Mark trained extensively with Al Beardsell and was the senior guitar technician for over a decade at Toronto’s legendary vintage guitar store Songbird Music. He’s well known from Guelph to north of Barrie among store owners and players requiring detailed repairs done precisely the right way. He’s extremely talented at anything related to guitar repair and maintenance — setups, pickup installation, cracks, electronics, nut work, bridge work, frets, and more. He also makes custom pickups designed to suit your tonal needs.
